IMBALANCES
Damp Cold in the Bladder
TONGUE: white sticky coating on rear of tongue
PULSE: slippery, slow, esp. proximal position
SIGNS/SYMPTOMS:
frequent and urgent urination, urine flow starts and stops, heaviness around
the bladder, pale urine, misty or cloudy urine.
SOME COINCIDENT WESTERN MEDICINE DISEASES:
urinary tract infection, cystitis, benign prostatic hypertrophy, chlamydia
Damp Heat in the Bladder
TONGUE: red, thick sticky yellow coat on rear of tongue, possibly with spots
PULSE: rapid, slippery, possibly wiry in left proximal position
SIGNS/SYMPTOMS:
frequent and urgent urination, burning sensation during urination, urine
flow that starts and stops, dark yellow and/or misty or cloudy urine, blood
in the urine, thirst,possible fever.
SOME COINCIDENT WESTERN MEDICINE DISEASES:
urinary tract infection, kidney stones, trichomonas, strep or staph
infections, edema
Deficient and Cold Bladder
TONGUE: pale, wet
PULSE: deep, weak
SIGNS/SYMPTOMS:
frequent pale and copious urination, urinary incontinence, low backache,
bedwetting.

chronic prostatitis, gonorrhea, nephritis
